CONTEMPORARY ARTIST

I am interested in painting as a living field of relationships between object and space, surface and material, realism and abstraction. Working with paint, reclaimed textiles, raw linen, ink, and drawing materials, I use the language of still life to build and disrupt familiar forms through layering, repetition, fragmentation and erasure. Objects and materials retain their histories and physical presence, while the intervals between them carry their own weight, shaping how forms meet, separate, and relate.
